SUMMER PARTY, LONDON – JUNE 2022 On behalf of Tetragon I just wanted to say thank you to your and your team for all the hard work that went into making our Summer Party a great success – despite the rail strike. Everything went off really well and the marquees and lighting really created a great atmosphere. It was good to meet up with Michael again and I sincerely hope that we will be able to work together again in 2023.
LONDON FUNDRAISING EVENT – JUNE 2022 Wow, I can’t thank you enough for all of your help, support and patience in the planning of our fundraising event last Thursday. We raised a huge £165,000
which is just amazing news! Many guests complimented us on the marquee and setting. That in itself felt enough to help set the tone and get our guests comfortable for a big night of spending. For this, I am hugely grateful. The marquees looked fantastic. They were perfectly positioned, with a good amount of space and the fairy lights looked beautiful! Everyone was impressed. WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MARQUEE WORPLESDON, APRIL 2016. This was a large marquee on a hill with perfect views across open fields to the North Downs. Over the Easter weekend Storm Katie caused widespread damage across the country. Despite the exposed position our marquee was undamaged. Over the same weekend we supplied a marquee for the University boat race. This too was in an exposed position on the third floor terrace of Kings College School Boat Club overlooking the Thames. Like the Cambridge men’s boat this too prevailed!

Finally, Stevie and his colleagues were brilliant and also very kind; they went over and above the call of duty to help me. They set up the tables for me and then dismantled them and folded all the chairs away without even being asked! You have all provided an exceptional level of service and I will definitely come back to you should I need a marquee in the future (and perhaps I will as the party went so well, we are thinking of making it an annual event!). APRIL 2015, CHARITY EVENT AT GUILDFORD LIDO. Just a massive thank you to you and your guys for setting up and letting us have the marquee for this year’s 2swim4life. It was the best event thus far- everyone was so friendly, swam so marvellously- even though it rained for most of it- and the spectators and swimmers did it all with smiles. We have already reached our target of £20,000 to enable an additional centre for the Place2Be charity, allowing them to work with many more young people. Hopefully as money is still coming in, this may grow, I’ll let you know the final total. I have just written a press report that was requested by Guildford management and you are suitably mentioned and publicly thanked. WEDDING RECEPTION AT THE OLD GREEN BARN, NEWDIGATE. We would just like to thank you very much indeed for your very efficient and friendly service in supplying the marquee. You understood the brief for the barn doors and made the suggestion for the door to the tin barn, which made the space very user friendly. The evening was a great success and the marquee looked lovely, both during the afternoon when the sun shone in between the heavy showers (luckily more sun than showers) and into the evening with the fairy lights and chandelier. It created a warm and very friendly atmosphere which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We have passed on our thoughts to the barn owners, who were especially impressed by the idea of covering both doorways as they said they hadn’t seen anyone else doing that.

It was the first time that we have held a party of that size and the decision to hire a marquee was a leap into the unknown for us. I had always wanted more than just a marquee in the garden but a garden wedding and with your help I can honestly say it was everything I had ever dreamed of. The marquees were both splendid and stood on their own and yet blended into the garden seamlessly, as the boundary between the two blurred.
You understood what I was trying to achieve and your can do attitude reassured us to go for what I really wanted rather than the easy safe option. Despite the site and bride-to-be’s wish list presenting its own challenges of changing levels, pond, rockery and flowerbeds your gave us confidence to trust the team to work it out.The last minute change to include clear panels on the drive side were accommodated without hesitation and the teams put up and took down the marquees in challenging weather conditions leaving barely a trace in the flower beds. Everyone said “wow” or just gasped as they saw the garden and the marquees for the first time. Exactly the response I wanted! We don’t have all the photos back yet but I have sent a few to give you the essence of the day. It is so difficult to choose a favourite! Unfortunately they don’t capture the marquees as much as I would have liked but they give a sense of the occasion.
